The Forensic Psychiatric Regional Clinic (RPK) is today one of the largest clinics in the country for the care of patients referred under the Forensic Psychiatric Care Act (LRV). We also have a mandate to care for particularly demanding patients under the Compulsory Psychiatric Care Act. The clinic is currently undergoing an expansion and will, when completed in early 2026, have 135 care places distributed across 10 departments. With this expansion, the group of risk assessors with the title FOU-handler will increase from 2 to 4. The clinic continuously works on developing high quality in all organizational levels and holds ISO certification for quality and management systems.

We are now looking for 2 FOU-handlers to join us at the Forensic Psychiatric Regional Clinic. We offer you a responsible job, where you will receive continuous further education, including international training. You will be part of a team with extensive experience in assessing risks for forensic psychiatric patients' relapse into threats and violence.

The positions are permanent full-time employment with a start date according to agreement.

FOU-handler for RPK Overall Care Resource Unit, Sundsvall Job Responsibilities

The main task is to perform risk assessments regarding threats and violence on patients within the Forensic Psychiatric Regional Clinic in Sundsvall. The assessments are used as guidance for care and as decision support for administrative law. External risk assessment assignments may also occur for other forensic psychiatric clinics, general psychiatry, correctional services, and social services. In addition, the team is responsible for reporting to quality registers, training staff internally and externally in risk assessment, and serving as decision support in cases where care needs extra assistance with guidance on issues related to threats and violence.

We are looking for someone who

• Has an education as a criminologist or another education that the employer assesses as equivalent
• Has experience in performing risk assessments using structured professional guidelines, with a priority on HCR.20 version 3
• Has good knowledge of Swedish in both spoken and written form

It is an advantage if you

• Have taken courses in risk assessment led by Henrik Belfrage and/or Stephan D Hart
• Have work experience from forensic psychiatric care
• Have additional language skills
